Her resolute strength will appear standoffish but her maternal vulnerability always shines through.
Taking a leap of faith with my family in tow, we left our comfortable life in Minneapolis, MN, to live in sunny Los Angeles, where I now work as a producer, director, writer, actor and coach.
I’m known for playing a sweet and flawed angel in Soul Survivors: Dating Angels, a tough and law abiding lawyer in the short film Rosie and as the lead in the Karga Seven Pictures gripping true story of survival in Tornado Alley.
I have an extensive background in musical theatre, plays and corporate improvisational theatre including gigs at the world renown Guthrie Theatre. I studied music at the prestigious MacPhail center for music studying with Carnegie Hall & Ukraine Opera Singer Oksana Bryn.
DIRECTOR | PRODUCER
Growing up with my two brothers in a suburb of Minnesota, we explored life by making science experiments, building forts in the woods near our house, and sledding down deadman’s curve. This exploration and love of imagination extended into making horror films with friends and creating my own shows. (Including a sold out roller skating show on the driveway that I charged my family $2.25 a ticket when I was 6.) Hey, growing up penny pinching and clipping coupons, I had to make money somehow. :-)
I own Moss Studios. A TV/Film production company focusing on telling action, adventure, mystery and inspirational stories.
Through Moss Studios four out of fours films were accepted to film festivals around the nation and one was shown at the Cannes Film Festival Short film corner. Two won best dramatic short film awards.
A proud daughter of two Navy veterans who met in Japan and married in San Diego, CA, I’m drawn to adventure. Currently, I’m writing and pitching a sci-fi, family action-adventure feature film set in space. It’s like Top Gun, Mission Impossible, and The Incredibles with a dash of Guardians of the Galaxy humor.
In addition, I’m writing a Drama TV pilot based on a stoic, no nonsense female judge while working with Jen Grisanti, writing instructor for NBC Writers on the Verge. I’m also a member of Women in Media and Raindance.
I love helping busy professionals, parents and families learn, explore and rediscover their love of playing piano and singing through my online coaching programs at IngridMossMusic.com.
I am currently enrolled at USC-Annenberg obtaining a masters degree in entertainment and communication. I have Bachelor degrees in Organizational Communications and Music, Theatre, Dance from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.
I’ve lived in Spain, backpacked across Europe, Skydived in Switzerland, zipped lined in the mountains in Costa Rica and white water rafted on fast moving rivers in Costa Rica and Colorado.
I’ve had two near death experiences, almost drowning in Hawaii and falling off the raft in Costa Rica in a treacherous spot of the river. Whoa that’s heavy! Let’s move on.
The love of my three kids, hubby, pets and friends is evident in my life as you will find me camping, coaching their soccer teams and exploring California while desperately trying to be the mom and wife they deserve.
